Peter Burlingame is the president of Self Defense Initiative, Inc, a company which develops and provides firearms, baton, DT, and security training, locally and nationally.

Self Defense Initiative is currently responsible for the safety, security management, and physical security functions of 20 facilities on St Thomas, St Croix, St John, Tortola and Virgin Gorda.
